But seriously, it’s that time of the year…time for holiday parties, end of the year celebrations, and New Years extravaganzas.

I have color coded them for you…GREEN means GO ahead and enjoy 1 or 2 of these relatively healthier drinks and… RED means STOP even thinking about ordering this calorie packed beverage of “fun”.

SPECIALTY DRINK RECIPE

Pomegranate Punch:
2 ½ cups of Seltzer
2 cups of Pomegranate Juice
Lemon twists

Directions:  Mix seltzer and pomegranate juice in bowl
and then garnish with lemon twists.

To add alcohol: add 2 cups of champagne, decrease both
pomegranate juice & seltzer to 1 cup each, and add ½ cup vodka.

(Serves 6, 128 calories, 7g carbs, 5 mg sodium, 72 Potassium).
